BROOKLYN, Mich. (AP) — The Latest on the NASCAR Cup Series race at Michigan International Speedway (all times EDT):
Austin Dillon won the second stage of Monday’s NASCAR Cup Series race, taking advantage of a cycle of pit stops in the final few laps.
Pole winner Joey Logano has led 110 laps of this 200-lap, 400-mile race at Michigan International Speedway. But Logano’s was one of several cars that needed to make pit stops toward the end of the second stage, and it was left to Dillon and Kevin Harvick to compete for the lead.
Dillon held on at the end of 120 laps for the stage victory, his first of the season.
